Friday Futsal again...

18/01/2008

Not a good day of futsal really... Played badly most of the time, even though manage to score 3 goals in different games.. Overall, it's just a bad day of futsal... gg

P/S: I wonder when will I play with my former high-school mates again... Only some of them are on a holiday, but most of the others still have classes... I've always had loads of fun playing with the lot.. I hope we'll play again anytime soon..

Mid-Terms

Multimedia Technology & Design - 14/01/2008

What a sucky paper.. This is like Computer Application last sem. Could you believe there are questions about shortcuts? Damn lame zzzz... The structured and short essay questions didn't even help my day one bit. Crap! "The disadvantages of the growth in multimedia - wtf is that?! Plain suck...

-----------------

Structured Programming - 16/01/2008

Honestly, I thought that it was going to be wayyyyyyyy easy. But it turned out to be decent. I can answer all, of course, but some questions needed me to think a bit. I think I nailed this one though. Haha!

Islamic Studies - 18/01/2008

Just when I thought it'll be a good day, I forgot to bring my matric card to college -_-... Had to pay RM5 to get an authorization letter so that I can enter the examination hall... But wth, RM5??!!! Burned like that... They sure know how to make money.. Flat broke already T_T... And even worse, it doesn't seem like the lecturer checked matric card because my friend said that he had his in his pocket all the time... ZZZZzzz... And to add to my misery, the paper was........

Easyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy......!!! ^_^

Hehh it's not a bad after all, just that I lost RM5... T___T

Data Communications and Networking - 21/01/2008

A really hot afternoon.. Not such a good weather, certainly not one that I like.. Entered the frigging hall, and answered the paper... Objectives and T/F questions, I nailed... But the structured part, I flopped, big-time.. I think there's at least 15 marks that I lost for the structured section T_T... It's my fault I guess, for not reading the book the past few days when I had the time... When answering the structured questions, I had no mood whatsoever to think, seriously moodless.. I knew I had read about the effectiveness of data communication, but because I can't think well enough, I answered it wrongly.. 6 marks gone... Then, there's a 7 marks question about the OSI Layer.. More or less, I think I could get only around 2 or 3 marks for this... But this depends, on the generosity of my lecturer I guess, because I didn't answered that question quite convincingly either.. lul.. hmm..
Anyhow, hope that I won't get low marks...

-----------------

So, my mid-terms have finished.. Got 6 days off for relaxation, though I wonder if I can do just that since I have to go to S'pore for awhile.. Journey there has always been tiring to me, not to mention that it's very uneventful there. Before going there, I still have one thing to take care off.....

Great night for footie...

Futsal - 11/1/2008 9.00 pm onwards

Just got back from futsal around half an hour ago or so. It was a great 2 hours long of futsal (switching teams every 3 goals of course >_>). But it was still a great night of futsal for me. I felt that it was my best night of futsal in the college - played really crappy before this. I scored quite a number of goals tonight, and more importantly, set up quite a number goals also.

After playing a couple of games, I was so damn tired. Quite surprising, because last week we played one hour and a half, and I didn't felt this much fatigue. Rested for awhile (since I was in a losing team), and got a little bit of energy left. Then, things started to look good for me. My team won 4-5 straight games, before losing again. The longest record for today (I think.. lol).

Nevertheless, I played quite well in all those games - scoring a beautiful left footed curler (top corner, mind you :P, - and against my brother *^^%^%$^%# pawnzzorz!!), a couple of part-toe-poker, part-outside foot shot, a couple of easy tap-ins and made some goals for my fellow mates. Somehow, today I felt some improvements on my football/futsal skill - I can made shots with my outside foot quite comfortably now (I can't remember doing those kind of shots when I played before). I felt proud of it np ^_^.

What else what else...??? One more final thing I guess. I've proven to myself (yet again), that my left foot is my strongest for set pieces - which is weird, because I'm a righty. Today was not the first time I scored a curler with my left foot. Strange, but it is true. My left foot can bend the ball very smoothly, but whenever I tried to do it with my right, it never curls wtf -_-.

MYM Prime Defending #9 - http://www.mymym.com/en/coverage/434.html

Greatest online tournament ever, hands down! I always wait for the next version of Pride with enthusiasm because I like watching the high level replays - it's very entertaining to watch top teams play against each other (especially in the finals). Thinking of making a new team
(or possibly joining, if someone wants me lalalal) because I find it hard to work with my previous team. Hmm.

Anime Review

Myself; Yourself

yawn........

OK.. So this is my first anime review. It's not something that I would do often, but since I had just finished watching it, I ought to give it a few comments. So the anime is about a high school student, Hidaka Sana, who was transfered back to his old hometown, 5 years after his family had moved away from there. He's living there alone this time around.

When he was a kid, he had so much memories in the town, fun and sad moments, with his four other best friends - Aoi-chan, the eldest between them, Shuusuke and Shuri the twins, and Nanaka-chan. He re-met with all of them and they rekindled their friendships, and relived the great times that they used to have together. They re-endured hard moments and re-enjoyed their cheerful moments together, though this time as adults.

The storyline is quite average some would say, but it's enough to satisfy me, especially the drama in the final few episodes. The part school-life, part comedy, part romance and part drama are what I always search for in animes, and this anime portray those in a quite well-balanced way. The animation (character design, colouring, etc. etc.) is really nice, couldn't detect any flaws. Catchy opening theme (Tears Infection by KAORI). Well, I guess the only thing that makes me sad is that the anime finishes wayyyyy too fast, a merely 13 episodes only. wth -_-. So, overall:

Graphics: 8.5/10 (I like the art, quite good)
Sounds: 8/10 (catchy OP ftw, and the voice actors are great, especially for Aoi-chan... lol so kawaiii)
Storyline: 8/10 (a little bit of comedy here and there, nice drama near the end)

Duration: 5/10 (too short (number of episode-wise), like I said -_-)
Gameplay: 8/10 (rofl wrong review :P !!)
Awesomeness Rating: 8/10 (
made me appreciate friendships even more...)

Overall: 7.5/10 (hmm... quite a low rating, but it's still a decent anime in my book)

Err.. I sounded as if I was making a game review or something, I dunno what else to give ratings to.. rofl.. But I guess this should do it for now....

KAORI - TEARS INFECTION

The lead singer really needs to take some dancing lessons o.O...
